Visiting the Salar de Uyuni during the rainy season is an indescribable experience for photographers and fans of unique landscapes on earth.

Being the only salt flat that can be seen from space, the tourist offer of this town includes tours to underwater islands, train cemeteries, lagoons with unique colors, and a desert straight out of a Salvador Dalí painting.

We have 2 group trips per year, between March (rainy season) and October (dry season).

Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL

Arrival in the city of Uyuni, Bolivia. City Tour scheduled for the afternoon (optional depending on your arrival time)

 

 

Day 2: VISIT TO TRAIN CEMETERY - COLCHANI VILLAGE - PLAYA BLANCA MUSEUM

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the train cemetery. Visit to the town of Colchani. Visit to salt mines and museums. Visit to the Playa Blanca museum. Sunset at the Salar de Uyuni for taking pictures with wine and snacks. Lunch and dinner included.

DAY 3: VISIT TO OLLAGE VOLCANO - LAS LAGUNAS - DALÍ AND SILOLI DESERTS

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Ollage Volcano Viewpoint. Visit to the Colorada, Hedionda and Cañapa lagoons. Visit to the Dalí desert, Siloli desert and stone tree. Lunch and dinner included. The salt flat has 14 small islands, the most important of which is Incahuasi Island, located in the centre of the Salar de Uyuni. Around the island you can see the Ojos del Agua, these are vents that act as pores in the salt flats. Here you will have time to take the famous crazy photos in the Salar.

DAY 4: LICANCABUR VOLCANO - VALLEY OF THE ROCKS - SAN CRISTÓBAL CHURCH

At 5:30am we leave for the morning sun (volcanic area). Visit to geysers and fumaroles. Visit and entrance to the Polques hot springs. Visit to the green and white lagoons. Visit to the Licancabur volcano. Visit to the Valley of the Rocks. Visit to the Church of San Cristobal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

DAY 5: RETURN TO LA PAZ

Breakfast. Free morning and return to La Paz.
